Gym contract extension with out permission

Gym contract. I have a 2 year contract with planet fitness and due to COVID-19 there were no fees paid for 4 months. My contract was due to end in Jan 2021, when I first called to enquire about canceling I was told that no months will be added on but now hey told me I cannot end my contract because they have extended it for 4 months. First of all I did not agree to this and I cannot afford to pay further for the contract. The only time they ever contact me is to get money from me which they take off my account every month plus more. No one can ever help you at planet fitness branches nor over email. I am completely disgusted and I will never ever support Planet Fitness again. They are completely unprofessional. My contract stipulates the expiry date and I didn't choose not to pay nor did I choose to extend my contract, I refuse to pay for these months added on and I want it canceled on the due date that I signed, this is ridiculous, I am the payer for 2 contracts and I'm sitting with the same problem with both
