Furious at the service - None Payment???? Really

I have a complaint. I have not been to planet fitness for over 2 years. I had a debit order arrangement. No one from planet fitness contacted me, I now get a sms to say that I have been handed over. Why was the monthly amounts not taken off my debit order arrangement. WHY has no one contacted me?
