I went to planet fitness in Brackenfell in November 2022 to inquire about joining and specifically told Mojalefa that I can’t join on my own without a couple of my friends since I don’t have a car yet so I was there to know about the fees and inform my friends as we all are looking to join the gym some time in 2023

We all needed to get the information about the joining and membership fee and go back to our budget and see, all this I informed Mojalefa together with the manager at Brackenfell and they were adamant to offer discounts and told me to fill a few things so that when I come back to join everything will be in order and stupidly I believe them even though I told them time and time again it will still be useless for me to join the gym if I don’t have transport to go to the gym.

Mojalefa and I agreed that I will get back to him end of November about joining the gym or not after I have spoken with my friends. 25th November my account was debited, I went to Brackenfell again to ask them what is going on, the receptionist told me I am the 4th person to complain about being debit when I am not a member and Mojalefa told me he remembers me joining the gym which means it’s now his word against mine and that one of my friends joined the gym and so he thought I had joined too, he gave me call centre numbers to call.

The call centre told me there is a contract that I signed and there is a copy of my ID and yes I gave them my ID to verify that I am a vitality member, then I requested a copy of the contract and cancellation and I was told the cancellation will happen in four months and I will still have to pay the gym for those four months and will be sent the copy of the contract. Few minutes later I receive email with reference number about tinge cancellation but no copy of the contract, which leaves me to believe that contract is *****. Until I receive the copy of the contract and can verify that I signed and my signature was not forged from the ID, I will not be paying anything to Planet Fitness and I can assure you I will not recommend the gym to anyone I know and I won’t be joining this damn ***** company and to come here at Hello Peter and see so many complaints about how ********** Planet Fitness is. I am horrified
