Feeding of wrong information by consultants just for them to make money

My partner joined the planet-fitness gym the one at Ruimsig, now we wanted to cancel our memberships due to a misunderstanding and feeding of wrong information by consultants who only want to make money without even guiding you. The package that we took is the one for R499, however we only realized that the R499 was for each of us not both of us that is why we took the package because we thought it was a good offer, we wouldn't have taken the membership/offer if we knew that it will be R1000.00 for both of us, it only came to our senses on the 1st October that they took(deduct) double the amount of what we agreed upon, If it wasn't for all the confusion and the misunderstanding we wouldn't be cancelling our membership . we cant continue with the memberships because it is too much for us it is beyond our budget unless we can come with a reasonable solution that will be fair for everyone, R1000.00 is a lot for us just for a gym, it has not been even 20 days.
