False confirmation of cancellation

I enquired when my contract is ending and for them not to renew it. I then received an email confirmation of contract cancellation as well as the matter is closed. The month of the cancellation comes and goes last debit goes. Month after debit goes off again. I enquire how come they cancel my contract and not my debit order I am then informed they made a mistake I have to pay until the following year, i am behind on payment and the amount I need to pay to cancel my contract after THEY sent me CONFIRMATION that THEY CANCELLED my contract. I will tell everyone to never in their lives to ever sign up with Planet Fitness. I am disgusted with them and their service.
