FALSE ADVERTISING.
Yesterday (27/06/2024) I received an SMS regarding your re-joining promotion of R299. I clicked the link, filled out the form and submitted it. 5min later I got the call back from the selected Gym (Newtown Just Gym) I spoke to Kobeka. I told her about the SMS. It sounded like she new exactly what special I was referring to and asked me to bring my old tag with me this morning for our meeting. When I arrived, they (Kobeka and Mo, her manager) told me that they only have a package of R545/m and carry no knowledge of this R299 special. Explained that it was "just marketing" I am very disappointed that Planet Fitness waste people's time like this. FALSE ADVERTISING at its best. I, then tried to contact Planet fitness via their whatsapp link on their website. They are experiencing technical difficulties. So that too is useless.
