Dont sign up!!!

I've had the worst experience ever with Planet Fitness.. I took out a 2 year contract with them in 2016 for R200 a month. After 3 years, they were still debuting money. I went to their branch in Meadowdale, as that was my gym, and asked them to please stop taking money from me. They told me they can't help me and gave me a number to contact. I've tried to call this number HUNDREDS of times, but it just does not work. (***) Out of desperation, I blocked the debit orders via my bank and things went quiet. I thought this nightmare was finally over. To my surprise, I had a DEBT COLLECTOR contact me this morning telling me I owe Planet fitness over R1000!!!!!!! How could you people take money from me without my consent for over a year and now hand me over to a debt collector for more money??? This is a major bridge of contract and surely is against the law. Not once did any service agent phone me, email me, send me a message or give a simple WhatsApp message about what was going on. I cannot believe the lack of care, lack of customer service and communication you guys have. You dont care about your clients, I BEGGED for help and still didn't get any! Please call me guys, it'll be the first ever phone call between us since 2016
