Don't cancel after *****ulently signed up

I would like to firstly express my dismay and shock at my experience at going to Planet Fitness Just Gym in Meadowdale. I have never used their services and will never ever use their services. I initially went to take out a week free trial to use the gym. Shaka Zulu assisted me initially and this is when my nightmare started.

He first got info incorrectly about hot water only working not during load shedding, which was the main reason why I cancelled.

Next thing that he got wrong was that I can join another gym while being a member there with vitality benefits.

Next thing that he got wrong was signing me up without me signing a contract.

The last thing he got wrong was that he could not help me cancel and that only the Sale Manager, Miles, could only assist me in cancelling as I only paid activation fee when I was only coming for a week's trial membership.

I had the worst time going to the gym to meet Miles to assist me who completely wasted my time whilst my mom was in hospital on her deathbed. He was arrogant and didn't even care to assist me. I never want to speak to him again and would like to lodge an official complaint against him and Shaka Zulu for wasting my time, being insentitive, completely disregarding a client request and for committing *****. This is because my mom was sick in hospital and has passed away recently and also for me not being cancelled and me being charged and debited despite me not signing a contract and not being refunded. This has also caused an issue with our family membership at virgin active and being debited wrongly for not being cancelled and debiting incorrectly.

After my interaction with Mile's I never ever wanted to do anything with Planet Fitness Just Gym. Maybe the lower prices involve dealing with a sales manager like Miles.

When I called the call centre to cancel, they couldn't assist me and made me go to the same branch to cancel taking time away from my work and me visiting my mom in hospital.

I'm glad I met the manager Victor who was very professional and actually assisted me. He also assisted me in allowing Bedfordview Planet Fitness to go for a trial with my son for swimming lessons which I couldn't go for since the mess that Shaka Zulu and Miles caused for me. I did not go for it though since my mom was on her death bed in hospital and work commitments. My girlfriend signed us up to Virgin active since I had a very bad experience with Planet Fitness. Despite him assisting me, it is still not resolved and created a lot of problems. I think Mile's can learn something about customer service from Victor.

I will also be contacting my lawyer with regards to this and also complaining on all forums of this pathetic service from Planet Fitnes Just Gym Meadowdale. What is the contact info for your legal department?

I would prefer all communication via email as you phone someone and if you cannot get through to them, then you close off a call and incorrectly charge them and not cancel what what not supposed to be charged. When ***** is committed, you continue to commit it if you cannot get a hold of someone.
