Dismal accounting department

I am a member and was paying via credit card, I stopped going to classes due to business constraints. The next thing I knew I had been handed over due to non payments. I never received an invoice or even a call telling me that my account was overdue. I settled what was due and setup a scheduled payment which comes off on a monthly basis. I again received a threatening sms from their lawyers in December 2018 and contacted their accounts department who rectified the error and assured me that it would not happen again. This morning I got another threatening sms from their lawyers. I contacted their accounts department and they found that the payment had been made. I insisted on an apology yet just received an email stating the following:

Dear Jeremy 475956 Davies 475956, Your reference number is PF **********

We have finalized your outstanding query with Planet Fitness.
