Dishonest about fees and so called discount!

Planet fitness ruimsig. I am currently on a black tag with my brother in law. He is moving to a different province so i enquired thursday after gym about a new contract for myself. It was explained to me that the normal account monthly fee for a 24 month contract is R749. I was then told that i could be loaded onto a edgars reward benefit to recieve 40% off my fee. I specifically asked the sales consultant multiple times what the fees are for joining the edgars rewards program and he told me on all occasions there is no fee. He told me i would be paying R569 per month and that i could have the annual levy split over 12 months if i did not want a double debit when they do they levy.

Came home and had a chat to my husband who brought it to my attention that how am i still paying R569 ( without the annually levy part being added yet) if im getting 40% off? I should only be paying R 449 so i contacted the sales consultant and asked about it. He then only now informs me that it is because there is a R120 fee for thr edgars rewards program p.m after i ask him multiple times and he said no. My problem is that the company try and sell you thr membership as 40% off, tell you there are no added fees and then now when you question it cause the math doesnt add up they deny and say they did tell you. Selling it as 40% Off when it is actually more like R22% is extremely *********. I am very disappointed as i have been black tagging at this gym for over 3 years. I am differently looking into a different gym where they are not this ********* about fees. And to top it all off i asked to review the contract first before making a decisions and had to give all my details and already received an sms from my bank to say a mandate has been registered from then for R999 wonder where that amount came from????????
