Disgusted with Planet Fitness in General

<p>I have not gone to gym in more than a year. Reason being that I am signed up with at Planet Fitness Hennopsview, I have moved and Hennopsview is out of my traveling way, I start work early in the mornings and leave late at night, thus I do not have the time or energy to go to a gym that is out of my way. I tried moving my contract to another Club closer to me, just to find out that it is also out of my way.</p> <p>I want to cancel my contract because I am wasting my money on something I do not use.</p> <p>First time when I wanted to cancel the contract was when my Premium randomly just went up.</p> <p>The Sales Lady, Venus, never even mentioned that my monthly premium will go up, she said I am signing a 2year contract for R299 per month, nothing more.</p> <p>Surprisingly I got double debited in December for "levies".</p> <p>To mention I lost my job, thus I could not afford paying a single premium never mind a double premium. When I called to question about this the lady just said "sorry but this is how it works, if you cannot pay your premiums you should cancel your contract, but you will have to pay 20% of the remaining premiums amount." Of cause I did not have the money so I never cancelled it.</p> <p> </p> <p>Now I want to cancel it, now all of the sudden I have to pay 30% of the remaining premiums. And I still need to pay my FULL levies for December - (Levies was also not mentioned when I signed my contract)</p> <p> </p> <p>I am Truly Disgusted in every way with Planet Fitness. </p> <p> </p> <p>I would never recommend anyone to waste their time or money to go there.</p>
