******, derailing consultants of planet fitness- Samuel Fransman

My name is Lesiba Matlala, ID 7*********3. I sometime last year visited Planet Fitness facility in Brackengate to enquire about their facility and fees. One of the sales persons, took me through the facility and took my details. I explained to him that I am not joining yet as I have a contract with virgin active that I still need to serve a term to the end. We agreed and he sure understood. He asked me to sign in his tablet saying it is for future when I come to join which I did not have a problem with because i did not think he could deceive me. From there, he kept in touch asking when am I coming to join the club and I told him soon as my contract with virgin active is done I will. So, to date I still am a virgin active member which I don't desire to leave at all. To my surprise, I received an sms from attorneys informing of me being handed over by Planet fitness , (of which late last year I received an sms reminding me of the outstanding amount I owe at Planet Fitness and when I called the gym then they promised me to remove my details on the system after I explained how things went the day i walked into their facility). So, I called the number to understand what's happening, and they gave me a number ***) to call for investigation. The lady said to me she is lodging my complain and will contact me again in 72 hours. She called me again asking that send an ID copy with signature which I was not comfortable to do as I know for sure my documents and banking details were not shared with Planet fitness facility on the day I walked in for only enquiry. I explained well that i still have a contract with Virgin Active and could not sign with any other one until my contract has ended. I called Brackenfell branch again, I was trying to get the manager to try and resolve this problem, but the gentleman answered did not allow me to speak with the manager. He took my ID number to check on the system and he later said to me that the matter will be resolved and I will be called for confirmation within the week. So, with all said above, I requested Planet Fitness to remove my name and information from their system as a member because I am not a member and neither did I join the club but deceived by the consultant who helped me the day i went for enquiry. The amount that is owed in my name must also be removed and also ensure my name is not blacklisted because I have never become a member of planet fitness before nor owe planet fitness any monies.
