Denied Access to Essential Recovery Equipment – Disappointing Experience

My home gym is Planet Fitness Signature - Hazelwood and this was my first experience back from injury.

I had just arrived at the gym after recovering from a tendon injury in my wrist and searched the entire gym for a 1kg weight to train with, as the 2.5kg weight was too heavy. I finally saw some in the aerobics room. Since there was a class in session, I tried not to interrupt as I went in to grab a weight for my necessary recovery training. However, the instructor pointed at me and asked me to leave the room. So basically, I went to the gym annd needed to do one specific exercise to aid my recovery, only to be asked to leave the only room where there was a suitable weight.
