Debit order of R499 without notice for maintenance

Me and my brother app**** at the beginning of the year for the R199 pm account at Planet Fitness where you pay a once off amount for the first 12 months of membership. We both received an message from our bank accounts on the 1 July 2015 of a R499 debit order that went off from Planet Fitness. I called customer care to hear what this was about as we already paid for the year. They informed me that this was a yearly fee that is applicable to all members to maintain the machines and launch new stores. Now I want to know why I need to pay for another store to launch if I don't have the benefit of using that gym?? And why must I pay a yearly fee for maintenance if the machine at Centurion Megaclub isn't being maintained?? I've been complaining for the past 5 months and nothing is being done??? Another point I would like to point out is that our consultant didn't inform us of this debit order in the beginning of the year when we app****?? And where does everyone's money go that they pay monthly?? For what is that being used if it is not for maintaining machines and relaunches?? THIS IS BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! REGRETTING NOT JOINING VIRGIN ACTIVE!!!
