Debit order but no agreement/contract

Hello accounts department at Planet Fitness<br> <br> I made an upfront payment for my gym membership for one year at lakefield benoni and from there on I started getting debited. Why did this take place without contract?<br> <br> I have not gone to gym for one and a half years now and still you have carried on debiting my account even when I put stop orders. You have carried on without a contract for debit order.
