Day light *******?

We joined Planet Fitness utilising their special offer of R199 p/m for 24 months, off peak. This special was for ANY club. We chose Rosebank not knowing it would be closing 10 months later (Oct 2019). Planet Fitness informed us that our membership have been transferred to Wanderers at no extra cost. Wanderers have more facilities than what the Rosebank Club had. Unfortunately Wanderers is not suitable to us due to the travel time involved as we requested that our membership be transferred to Craighall Park instead (a club with more facilities than Rosebank but less than Wanderers). We were informed we would need to pay an extra R200 p/m to move to our preferred choice. Despite numerous emails (reference no. available) and pone calls, we have still not resolved the issue. Planet Fitness are not willing to move us without charging the additional money and we are also not able to get a full refund for the remaining 14 months of this fully paid for contract (we were informed we need to pay a cancellation fee but are still waiting for any further details on this...6 weeks now). We do think Planet Fitness are not abiding to the TCF rules (treating customers fair) and were dishonest in not informing us at the time of joining that the Rosebank club would be closing. More frustrating though is the lack of response and communication and a unwillingness to resolve this issue
