Contracted extended with 6 months without my consent

I signed a 24 month contract in September 2019. As per terms and conditions of the contract i need to provide a calendar month notice to cancel the contract, a request was submitted to Planet Fitness to cancel the contract end of September and not renew. They informed me that they automatically extended my contract with 6 months and i may not cancel due to Covid last year. Upon request to provide me proof that i agreed to the extension, they informed me that they did this without consent and i dont have a right to cancel. I requested a manager to contact me, the lady informed me that managers dont phone members so she will not request it. shocking that corporates entities are taking people for granted and doing what they want to. if i did not consent nor agree to the extension, you have no right to do so. Planet Fitness did not even have the decency to inform member of this.
