I went for a trial session at Planet Fitness Morningside in 2022 and I was requested to complete joining forms which I would give them an indication on whether to process or not after trial session. In the middle of the trial session I advised them that I would not be be joining. Few months later, I noticed debit order deductions. I visited them and they investigated the matter. Subsequently they said they will refund me. Refund never happened. I went several times to them and met their manager whom made further promises to resolve. No resolve happened, rather debit order continued despite having cancelled it. I went again to complain, I was told the manager that handled my matter transferred to their head office thus I need to report again to the current manager so that they could do a follow up. I again reported the matter and the manager requested that I also log the query to their call center while I was with them which I did. I was given a reference number. To date Planet Fitness is debiting money monthly despite having cancelled.
