Con artists!

I see that there is no response from the company on this website so I won’t bore with my long story but the staff are the worst I have ever encountered. They are ******, making one sign up under false pretences only to tell you the next day that you aren’t allowed access to the gym as an off peak member attending gym with a black tag holder during peak times. Something which they didn’t have an issue with when they had us both sign up and was their idea. When I asked to see the manager or the guy, Robson, who signed us up, I was told that they are too busy to see me. This has been going on for a week. They hide in their offices and refuse to come out. Since when is ignoring a client acceptable?

I was finally told that if I wish to cancel my membership I need to call head office. Everytime I called, I was told to hold and the call was cut after 30 minutes of waiting. I FINALLY managed and my membership has been canceled.

If I could give anyone any advice, take your time and your money to their nearest competitors. But stay far away from Planet Fitness. In the week that I have had the complete misfortune of dealing with them, I was **** to, ignored, deceived and I learned that I, as a paying client, does not matter.

Steer clear of this company. You’ll only give yourself a headache and be forced to have a cold beer to unwind from all the misery they put you through. So you won’t lose any weight in the first place.
