Complaint
I've been receiving bad treatment in this facility form day one I joined at Westville branch in Durban. I joined in December 2016 for the contract that was suppose to end in September. Joining this gym I was first asked to submit some important documents including my ID or Driver's licence, I used my driver's licence. it was taken for a copy it never brought back to me, I asked for my licence everytime when I came at the gym, and I was told different stories like, "Oh the office with copier machine is locked, we'll wait for the person with a key", Oh the person who made a copy for you is off duty come back when is on duty"... till the day I couldn't take it anymore because I was challenged in terms of driving my car, of which it ended up affecting me badly at work, where I was suppose to use company car, I couldn't without a drivers licence, I fail to do my job. I filed a complaint, but never get help, instead I learnt that a guy who was helping me with my contract left. The manager didn't help in that facility, staff was not helping either, I lost interest in going to the gym, treatment was sour, bad and really worked negatively on me. I asked to cancel my contract, they never responded, time for my contract to end came, but it was never cancelled, I tried on my side to stop paying Planet Fitness, they throw me to their lawyers. I asked this Landau lawyers as they are charging R600 every month to give me settlement, they promised but never done that. Even on this lock down all gym payments stopped but Planet Fitness and their lawyers still charge me and when I ask again the settlement, they tell me they are not at the office, they attend to that while back at the office, but they able to take my money every month, no lock down there...is this fair people????
