Can’t adhere to promises

Very disappointed with planet fitness Ferndale on republic, signed up in December under a promotion with Sanlam. The discussed process, fees and debit order dates were not adhered to. We requested a call back from Sanlam to incept a life policy for the promotion to apply, never heard back from them again. Called the planet fitness call centre with no assistance only to get to the 15th of the month and to be debited basically 3 times the amount we were advised of. Went into the branch (as advised by the call centre, for the branch to tell us to call customer care) to try rectify the issue and no accountability is taken, they just pass the blame to Sanlam. Tell us “oh I whatsapped you” but can’t find said message on their phone. Regret signing a year contract at this rate. I would be very sceptical to new clients looking for a gym. Would not recommend.
