Cancelled Membership but got handed over by Planet

I cancelled my membership with Planet Fitness, I cannot remember the exact date or year as it been so long.<br> Maybe 5 or 6 years ago. I was still receiving billing each month and I spoke to a Samantha someone in 2012-13 and I explained that I have cancelled my membership. The only reason why I remember her name is that my step moms name is also Samantha. She then said she can't find a cancellation letter on the system but If I resend it, she will reprocess - which I did. We are now in 2015 and I have been handed over for Debt Collecting because of this.<br> <br> Can someone please assist me from Planet Fitness, this is unfair towards me as I have done my part!!<br> <br> What more do they want, because their staff is ***********.<br> <br> I hope that I will get a speedy response from them, otherwise I will definitely have to consult a lawyer.
