********* CANCELLATION STRATEGY !!!

TERRIBLE SERVICE !!!!!!!

a few months ago I tried to cancel my gym contract with planet fitness, I called in and said I want to cancel my contract. They confirmed and said my contract will be cancelled but because I have to give one month notice there will be one last debit order going off at the end of the next month. So it went off and I thought my contract is cancelled but the next month after that another debit order went off and I called in again and said they need to cancel the debit order because it continues to go off. They then said again it is cancelled so I left it there. The next month another debit order went off and i disputed it on my banking app now I get daily messages that remind me to pay money that I do not owe them and the amount keeps increasing. They are also threatening me with legal action.

I followed the instructions given me by the consultant and I paid my last debit order, after that I was debited twice. As far as I am concerned Planet Fitness owes me one months' debit order for not doing their job and canceling my subscription.

Now I am being threatened with legal action because Planet Fitness' Head Office did not stop my debit order like they should have done after I cancelled within the requested time frame.

I know of numerous people that have struggled with the same problem when it comes to cancelling their contracts.

It seems like Planet Fitness is using this strategy to squeeze out every last bit out of a cancelled contract before hitting the 'Cancel Debit Order' button as I am sure this is a human being that has to do this very simple action after a client followed the steps to cancel. If my debt is not written off immediately, and my number removed from your Legal Advisers' system, I will take this matter to the small claims court.

Looking forward for this matter to be resolved and also for Planet Fitness to stop this ********* pursuit of money that are not owed them
