Cancellation of membership

I called planet fitness to cancel my contract. they told me to call multipler which I did .<br> Planet fitness was aware that i wanted to cancel my contract<br> two and a half months later i get a message saying my account is in arrears. which is ridiculous <br> I call planet fitness and the guy who picks up the call was very rude<br> I refuse to pay the amount stated to me as i have not used the service
