Cancellation of Contract under the CPA

I become a member of the Planet Fitness, on Sunday and went thru the gym to see all the equipment,<br> However, driving home, i realised it was to far to travel for a workout in the mornings as I would get stuck in morning traffic that would probarbly take me 40 minutes towards Ferndale<br> I send an e mail to cancel the subscription within the 5days cooling off period. and received the following no:<br> My reference PF770629 Agent 26. <br> I paid R400 at the reception desk and the debit order would come off at the st of the month.<br> <br> Since then I have had no reply. And, they are putting debit orders thu my transmission account, which has cost me banking fees as I have made sure that this account does not have the funds to pay them, awaiting my cancellation and refund of my funds paid at reception.<br> Not only have I got Returned debit orders and thus my credit ratings are going down, but they are trying to debit my account for double payment !<br> It seems that they are not attending to the queries and costing me money in the process.<br> I have tried on the phone but they refer me back to the branch.<br> How do I get them to refund me the monies they have taken off me as well a my bank charges?
