BUL**** BY PLANET FITNESS -- AGAIN

We are being bul**** by this Corporate Giant. 1. Three years ago we asked to terminate my wife's contract after signing up. 2. This happened within the first calender month . 3. We personally went to the co owner of the franchise in Kuils River , Cape Town to terminate the said contract. 4. In his office we saw him terminating it and he said all was well upon which time we left it right there. 5. there was no further contact from the said company after that time. 6. Since then the ownership of the franchise changed and apparently so also our status. 7. all of a sudden we( my wife) active again with notifying us at all. 8. almost a year lapsed and we we threatened by a collection company about being in arrears? 9. We went through the process of consulting with the Franchise again and we discovered that our files were not retrievable??? 10. the person ( co owner) that assisted us, sold out and left the company. 11. Again no correspondence from the said company for more than a year. 12. Yesterday (7/11/2018) we received an email which threatened us once again about being handed over for collection . 13.l want to know , after 3 years, what is this all about since we cancelled the contract, and never used the facilities as we CANCELLED the contract duly . 14. Please assist
