Breach of Contract for Cancellation to keep money

I signed a contract on the 30/10/14. The contract stated that the Contract start date is 01/12/14. On the 04/12/14 i phoned in to cancel my contract to get my full refund. It took me 4 months only to find out they refused to pay me my full refund. I have never used the gym facilities.<br> <br> According to the contract a full refund is valid if done in the cooling off period, which the contract states is within 5 working days of the Contract Start Date ! However they have refused this saying the cooling off period is from the contract sign date. Now they have approved paying me R1800 instead of the R3500 I should be getting, just to shut me up and get me to leave them alone. I WILL NOT BE COMPLACENT AND ACCEPT THIS OUTCOME !<br> <br> How can someone decide to change the terms of the contract on their own whim? This is just so they can ***** some of my cash and not have to lose all of it. <br> <br> It is outragous that someone can clearly break the law and people must put up with it.<br> <br> Can someone advise me on taking legal action please.
