Breach of Contract

I joined my wife at Planet Fitness In Carlton Centre in July 2015 after being told that the gym will only open the following month but that didn't happen now we in Jan 2016 and the gym hasn't been opened yet I called the Call Centre wanting to cancel the membership and the told me that I need to pay a cancelation fee so that they can cancel the membership I dnt understand when they say I must pay cancellation fee cause she is still in the initial period yet the gym she signed for has not yet opened. They offered her to use the one in Newtown and we stay opposite Carlton centre. The breached their own contract by saying the gym will start operating last year up to now. I nee this issue resolve ASAP cause im not gonna pay any Cancellation fee if it means we take it further that's what im prepared for STOP *****ing peoples money in day light *******.You want me to pay you R1144 which im not gonna do. To my understanding if a gym does pre sales it must take 3 months but with you guys its gonna take 1 year cause you failing to secure a deal with your Landlord.
