Body Shaming as a sales pitch
"Dear" Planet Fitness I am disgusted with the interaction I had with one of your representatives selling memberships outside of your Meadowdale gym. apon indicating verbally against being approached for a sales pitch, he found it acceptable to still go after me and rudely ask why my posture was so bad, which admittable it was due to me carrying a fractured toe and ankle injury resulting in noticeable limp and being hunched due to the discomfort, which yes resulted in me having not great posture at the time which highlighted my life-long issue with Scheuermann's Disease ( a medical spinal condition). So am I to take it that your sales pitch is that of body shaming people into your gym!?! I am pro fitness and have run dozens of marathons and ultra-marathons including a few Comrades, & I know that people's fitness journey is an individual experience and have had the pleasure of running races with many people of different body-types and weight classes. I suggest perhaps some sort of sensitivity training of your staff could be beneficial, as my toe will heal, my posture will again improve and my spinal condition is not dissabilitating , but many people are not as fortunate and I would hate for them to be harassed, all so that you can get another ,gym membership!
