Been trying to move to vitality for a month
I have had the worst experience with Planet Fitness Centurion Gate. I have been trying to move over to Vitality and filled out all the paperwork with Nick on November 11. My wife and I were supposed to be moved over to Vitality. Nick said it would take up to 72 hours to be done. November 15 comes and goes and I am debited the full amount for both my wife and I. This is after I have already paid the R499 x 2 to convert both memberships to Vitality. So now I've paid roughly R2600 for the gym for November.
I go back into the gym and ask Nick what happened. He says he will follow up and get back to me in 3 days. Nothing happens. So I go back to Centurion Gate and this time Nick says that according to PF my Vitality is not active, he tried to call me but my number is not working. Nick has been calling an old number. I gave him my new number and my Vitality number and he says he will get back to me. He does not. Two more visits to this gym and long story short I was debited again a double dosage of full memberships and over a month later am still not on Vitality. I have just paid roughly R3300 for December because I assume they credited the R998 as a payment when it was meant for Vitality. So not only am I out of pocket for too much money but I'M STILL NOT ON VIATLITY A MONTH LATER!!
I'm ready to cancel with PF because this is *******. This was meant to be a straightforward thing. I want this sorted out and I want my refund for the extra money debited as well as my Vitality sorted out. it can't take over a month to do this.
I would advise people to rather join via Virgin Active because PF is plain ******* and only care about debiting and *****ing money from clients
