Bad services - Planetfitness

I was not aware that planet fitness treats people like me this way.

First of all, your own consultant sold me wrong products, i have happily signed- up for R499 per month for 24 months in Rosebank last week because i happened to be in Johannesburg. I was told that i can easily transfer my location to any planet fitness of my choice. Since i live in Pretoria and happened to spend 7 days in Johannesburg, i decided based on good explanation from your sales consultant to sign-up with intentions to transfer my membership to Lynnwood Bridge in Pretoria (because i live closer to the club there). Now i am told that because i want to use Planet fitness in Lynnwood Bridge i have to pay a membership of R599 which no one explained to me before. If i have known i would have waited to return to Pretoria to register my membership with the Lynnwood Bridge Club (but i would have also assessed my current financial situation to make that decision. I cannot afford R599 per month for Gym at Lynnwood Bridge.

I have asked for the procedures of how to cancel my membership since no one from Planet fitness can assist me, but i spoke to a rude person on your call centre who never bothered even to understand my situation and all i get from this person is the email below, a cancellation fee of R3 412.80 which obviously\y i will not able to pay. I can’t afford since i am already struggling with the R599 per month. I am not impressed with the way Planet fitness have handled my request and no one cares.

I request again for cancellation of my membership. Lynnwood Bridge Planet fitness is very small; they even have 2 in 1 Sonar/steam room. I feel abused, ****** and it is ***** what you guys are doing. Given in Rosebank branch was the sales person.
