Bad customer service & no trial reformer pilates before financial commitment

I had a very disappointing experience at the Fourways (The Buzz) gym this afternoon.

On my way out of the gym this afternoon after my session I inquired from one of the sales personnel if it would be possible to do a trial reformer class before committing to the extra costs for an Elevate membership every month. I was promptly told “no” and when I responded with: “then I wont be able to sign up without knowing what i’m committing to”, their response: “well then so be it.” 😳

Having previously been a member of a privately owned reformer pilates studio and Virgin Active Hazeldean in Pretoria, which offered Reformer Pilates, for free! I therefore have experience in reformer pilates and was hoping to do one trial class to evaluate if this is something that I would like to commit to financially. I am now saddened at the fact that I took the chance of moving from Virgin Active to Planet Fitness.

I subsequently searched the reviews on this club and I see so many complaints about customer service, it’s shocking! I was not impressed with the answer, or the way in which I was treated by the staff member this afternoon. Sorely disappointed.
