BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ORIENTATION

I'm not impressed by the lack of professionalism of the front desk lady at Sterland Planet fitness. She can be heard laughing out loud in a small echoing gym for a good 30 minutes straight (her colleagues are very funny it seems) I don't have a problem with people talking, chattering, or even laughing but it becomes an issue when she is competing with the sound system. I go to the gym to distress and clear my mind and would appreciate an environment that is conducive to such. I'm not impressed with the lack of maintenance of the showers at this gym either. They have less than 10 showers to maintain and only one was working the others had doors that couldn't close as the rubber that holds the door shuts was non-existing mind you these are swinging glass doors. I had to switch showers 3 times. The scale in the ladies' change room is on life support and needs to be so ever gently balanced in order to switch on and stay on. As a new member who was taken off the street and sold dreams about how if I join now I will save on membership when planet fitness blue opens (as current memberships will remain fixed) *which in itself is false marketing coz they themselves can't tell you when this new gym will open* I really regret leaving zone fitness for greener pastures because I did not experience greener pastures at all when I got there. Word of advice wait for the new planet fitness blue to open as the apparent savings they sell to you are not worth it coz gyming in peace is a luxury and taking a decent shower afterward is a myth. Masego who signed me up didn't even care to welcome me to the gym and alert me of whats functioning properly and whats nor instead, he was part of the bad service with the lady at the front desk.
