Automatic Renewal of Contracts

I know my contract stipulates that should I not give written notice of cancellation my contract prior to expiry thereof the contract automatically renews which under the CPA IS NOW ******* and should only be renewed on a month-to-month basis. Now I get slapped with a bill from your attorneys for R20,000.00 as you renewed my contract for a period of an additional 36 months!!!! And then when I wanted to cancel, you wouldn't allow me to because my account is in arrears. Surely if I stopped paying you after the initial contract period, I no longer require your services. Or at least have the decency to phone and ask why I don't require your services, you could easily phone me 10 times a day when I wanted to sign up so why not a 2 minute phone call to get some customer feedback or retain customers amicably?<br> <br> Your business practices are shocking and show that you are downright ******* and ******. I most certainly have not recommended that any of my friends or family join a planet fitness and will continue to do so unless I get this amount written off with immediate effect!!!<br> <br> I await your response.<br> <br> Regards,
