Appalling Service from Planet Fitness

I joined Planet Fitness early this year and I was told that when I’m on Dicovery Vitality I’ll only pay R99.00 per month. A few month later my premium changes from R99 to R199. I could understand this and decided to contact Planet Fitness using contact form on their website and till today I have never received their response. I would sometimes dispute some of the debit orders.

Today I receive a call from a very arrogant and rude person calling from Landau Attorneys saying she’s calling on behalf of Planet Fitness and she wanted to collect money. I then ask her how did Planet Fitness hand me over without contacting me first? I told her I couldn’t understand why was my premium increased without me being notified and also why didn’t Planet Fitness respond to my email she tells clearly I didn’t read the contract then I tell her that the marketing consultant was still supposed to make me aware and Planet Fitness was supposed to respond to my email which they didn’t do.

I’m appalled by unprofessionalism from Planet Fitness and this person who was sent to call me Landau Attorneys. Even if she think I’m at the wrong she was at least supposed to check whether I have been contacted before or not and not use words like “clearly you didn’t read the contract”.

Service is everything to me. If that’s not what I’m going to get from Planet Fitness then I won’t pay for it. There are many gyms out there who are far much better than Planet Fitness
