Any Other Gym But NOT Planet Fitness

I must say, Planet Fitness has the worst customer service ever.

I lodged a query following incorrect billing on my membership account, sent countless emails, made calls, went to the club I signed up with (Heuweloord) - between the sales lady and 2 managers, no one seemed to actually take my query serious, not even to act like they are, all they wanted was to make target. After months with no rep**** emails, going back and forth with collections agents that were constantly calling me after I decided to reverse any debit order that goes through until my query is successfully attended to, then a new club manager finally tracks my query and apologizes for the "former team's misconduct" about my sign up - including other frustrated members. About just over a week, if not 2 into "looking" into the query, I'm then told it's resolved and can now resume my membership. At this point, I have incurred over drafts on my account, other obligations have been greatly affected because Planet Fitness has been debiting unauthorized amounts. Regardless of them admitting it was an error from their side, they still expect me to pay the reversed wrongful amounts, not taking into account the overdraft they've caused on my account, and the other unreversed debit orders that were to be credited to my account. The frustration of getting calls from different 3rd parties with no background of the account, having to explain the injustices of the service provider, having their team calling and promising to escalate and promptly resolve the matter, and still find yourself back to square one is really uphauling. I have now resorted to cancelling my membership with them, and yet still getting calls about missed payments. NB: I have made it a point to add all prior correspondences pertaining my efforts to resolving this to any new contact being made by either Planet Fitness itself and their 3rd party partners, but still, 5months later, I'm still going back and forth. I would never recommend any form of membership with Planet Fitness, their only goal is to make targets, and yes, they have No Excuses, very proud of how they conduct business and street customers
