A 1 star rating is too kind

I joined Planet Fitness Boksburg (Parkdene) in February 2026 and it has been endless problems since.

First of all, I had to have a qualifying Sanlam product and a Sanlam Reality membership to get up to 60% off the gym fees. No problem, I sorted that out BEFORE joining the gym. I also attened the gym MORE times than what was required (which is 12 times a month, I am doing between 15 - 20 times a month) for me to now be fighting an endless battle IN JUNE 2026 between Sanlam and Planet Fitness because I am only getting a 40% discount on my fees???

The two parties keep blaming each other and no one is taking accountability for my now R319.60 that is owed to me.

Not to mention, for a recently built gym, the equipment is constantly broken and the toilets are disgusting and hardly cleaned.

If I were you, I would either join Virgin Active or save the stress, time and money and do home workouts.
