5 months of no aircon!!

I have been a member at the gym for almost 5 years and the service has always been good, except for the past 5 or 6 months. The aircon has not been functioning at all. It was bearable when the weather was colder in the winter, but is becoming absolutely atrocious and totally unbearable as the weather warms. We've enquired about this numerous times and every time we get a different reason for it not working. First it was to save water as they supposedly use cooling towers, then it was to save electricity, next it was "just turned up to keep everyone warm and cosy" nevermind that it was almost 30 degrees outside. Next excuse was they are waiting for head office to green light the repairs. I've spoken to the trainers and they told me 2 members already fainted because of the stuffiness and heat. I was very close to passing out myself while doing a group class and had to stop the workout. They have money to spend on 4 R1000 fans to just blow around the hot air instead of fixing the aircon. This is beyond ridiculous as I'm paying every month for a service I'm not getting. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will gladly go spend my money on a gym who cares about they're clients' welfare
