4+ years later handed over for a non payment when it was cancelled in 2017

No resolution since 2017.... Threatening with Landau Attorneys for a non payment amount, I followed the cancellation procedure during that time and it was done, then surprise after more than 3 years I get a notification of being handed over to attorneys out of the blue because someone in the accounts department or wherever messed up and now I need to sit with the issues, this weekend again after more than a year after receiving the sms about being handed over I get another one. How difficult can it really be to do something correctly using your own policy and procedure as I did.
