183% membership fee increase!!!
I joined planet fitness in 2001 (previously called American Health & Sports) and signed up for a national family membership of R79/month. This escalated with inflation over the years and is currently on R158/month. <br> <br> I just received a letter today from the Plattekloof branch stating that a once off membership fee adjustment will take affect 1March2015. The new membership fee for the contract I have will increase by 183% to R447/month! <br> <br> Can this be done?<br> I've written to Wendy Knowler to see if the CPA has something to say about this.<br> I think it's outrageous and will most certainly cancel if this is the case.
