12 month contract

i won't sign up with any gym in my life this is a ****. When i sign the contract, we agreed that we will start with a 12-month contract then when i want to cancel then they tell me that we sign a 24-month contract and i must pay 5000 cancellation fee so i think this is what they do to everyone they just want your money that's all.
