Misleading a client with False promotions
I was sent a sms from Placecol Lifestyle Centrion that there phone lines have been restored and that I must please phone to book a free 30 min foot message. When I phoned to book my treatment, I asked if I could bring my mother with me. She is also a Placecol client but did not receive a sms. They confirmed that it would be fine and that she is more than welcome. I also told them that I am 36 weeks pregnant, that is why I bring my mom along. (I don't drive alone). I phoned three times to confirm my booking and to make sure that it was ok if my mother came along and that we were booked for two people for the foot msg. All three times I was told that it if fine and that we both were booked. Today at 11:00 when we arrived there we were told that only one of us can get the treatment free and that the other one had to pay. I was really upset, because first of all as I said I am pregnant and and it is an effort to drive so far. Secondly why didn't they tell me that after all the phone calls? Thirdly, apparently the manager couldn't see on the system who did the booking. That is either a lie or Placecol's system sucks. Instead of attracting clients they turn them off .
