Bad advice and very expensive

I contacted Placecol Willowbridge in the beginning of September 2018. I wanted to do something about the ***mentation on my face BEFORE I got married.

The Manager, Jackie, told me Meso treatments give amazing results and said I must come for a consultation, R650, which includes deep penetrating face oil, 1 bottle of a Gel Mask and a bottle of Probiotic (she told me it tastes like caramel but is actually disgusting).

When I went in, she showed me one photo of a girl whose ***mentation was supposedly gone with Meso treatments. She told me a series of 6 Meso treatments will be enough to get rid of my ***mentation before the wedding. She did not even take my make-up off to take a proper look at my ***mentation. I was told the treatments can bruise your skin but that it wasn’t really sore.

I was given a “special” for 6 Meso treatments for R5400.

I went for 5 Meso treatments with 2 facials in between during the weeks before my wedding. The pain was bad the first time, but got worse every time I went. After each treatment I looked as if someone hit me in the face and I had big bumps. It actually made small PERMANENT dents in my face and one my forehead. I have a dimple on my wedding photos and I never had a dimple before starting with the Meso.

Needless to say, not one of the ***mentation marks that was on my face when I went for the consultation was gone by my wedding day on the 1st of December. I actually had more ***mentation because they also neglected to tell me that more ***mentation can come up from under the skin.

After the wedding, I still had one Meso session to go. I told them that I cannot take the pain, I actually found it to be traumatizing and that it doesn't work. They did not want to refund me, but offered me a micro needling session instead of the Meso and another complimentary micro needling session. I went for the one in January 2019 and the 2nd one in February 2019. The micro needling made a small difference but I still have the original marks from September 2018 and I STILL have them.

I spoke to another the****** yesterday and she was quite shocked to hear that my Meso treatments wasn't done by a doctor. She also said Meso is good to improve the condition of your skin, but it isn't really effective as a treatment for ***mentation.
