Pizza del Forno ****arney branch

I ordered a burger for delivery and found a small piece of plastic in the sauce so phoned to let the manager know. He apologized but later said that the gherkins are stored in plastic jars and the plastic might have broken off from one. While I appreciate the sincere apology, the reason for the broken piece left me dumbfounded. I returned the burger and was given another which was unfortunately dry and almost tasteless had it not been for the sauce. Needless to say, I checked for plastic pieces before trying it out. To top it all off, I gave the receipt to the delivery man in case it was required at the restaurant. He threw it in the driveway and rode off. The only good thing out of this mess was the manager's sincerity. All the same, there's no way I'll be ordering from del Forno again. That burger was worth R5.00 at most and the delivery man shouldn't be making deliveries to begin with. I give the restaurant 1 star solely because there's no "0".
