Delivery surcharge a Rip-off
Have noticed increase in prices from Del Forno over last 2 months -when I queried the increases was just told prices had gone up. Yesterday queried inc prices again -finally was told truth -that now a delivery surcharge of R10 was being levied. So my issue is this: 1)Why do the order takers not know/explain to clients there is a new delivery surcharge of R10 across the board? 2) how does DF justify charging R10 for deliveries within a 5km radius. That is astronomical !
This is going to cost DF some business as I for one will not pay R10 for delivery when I live less than 800m from my closest branch- convenience of delivery be ****ed.

With regards to price increases we have updated our menu from 1 May 2018. There was a minimal increase on specific items where the cost of goods have increased, as we do our best to not increase prices unnecessarily. We have unfortunately had to add a delivery fee, which is now stipulated. We have absorbed the delivery costs for as long as possible and we did not want to inflate our food prices to cover the delivery fee, this was a decision that was made after a lot of deliberation.
