Del Fornos Farrarmere

Placed an order online for the R165 Tuesday special. The app asked if I would like to pay a driver tip which I clicked on yes and submitted my order. I then went to the payment page and proceeded to make payment. 2 min later I recieved a call from a lady telling me that I can collect my order as I didn't pay a delivery fee I told her the app worked it out and didn't ask me to pay delivery only drivers tip (I have the screenshot) i then said i would send my husband to collect and she said not to worry they would deliver. The driver then delivered my food and when I asked him if he got his tip he said no that they don't pay the drivers tips and that I must tip him directly. Unfortunately I don't keep cash on hand hence I showed him that I had indeed paid a R20 drivers tip. I called the store back to ask them why and was not given an answer but *****ing tips from drivers is not cool and should never happen.

Just had a call from the manager and when I asked him why they were taking tips from drivers he asked me if I wanted his help or not because I was the problem. I then promptly ended the call and will not be using del fornos in the future.
