Worst Service. Disgusting food. Useless staff.

If I could give this useless dump a zero star review, I would. My friend and I experienced the most despicable service. Waiter at the door assures me that I will have plenty of vegan options from which to choose. There were about three choices. I went with the pizza. My friend ordered steak with what I thought was a hardened skin on top, looked like burned apricot leather, turns out it was a layer of cheese which, like her potatoes, were burnt. When we contacted a waiter he was very rude and insisted the potatoes are meant to look that way (they looked like charcoal briquettes). Her steak was cold, too. I didn’t care about that because I’m against eating meat but it was the principle of it. First no one had led us to a table, then we waited about half an hour to order. I called over a very lazy woman who “took our orders” but clearly hadn’t since another twenty minutes went by and she was still standing in the exact spot from which I called her. Finally a waiter came over to take our orders and asked if I wanted a large or medium pizza, confirming she hadn’t put in our order because she hadn’t asked us anything about how we wanted our food. Once we asked for takeaways we were each given our specific bags of takeaways. It was another half before any of them thought to bring the bill, then another ten minutes for the speed point machine. The place was NOT EVEN BUSY. The waiter had clearly expected a tip for this useless service and way BELOW average food so I wrote “N/A. Worst service ever.” He saw that, took our payment and left without a word, apology or thanks. In my way out I gave my takeaway to a homeless man. My friend later contacted me to let me know why they’d been so specific in the bags of leftovers they’d put on our table: they swapped the dishes.
