manager playing with staff

we had dinner at this branch Thursday night. nobody greeted us, we had to find our own table. the waiter, when asked what beers were on tap, pointed to a card on the table and said nothing. we then waited for him to return before we could order. we were close to the bar upstairs. the barman were continuously playing with each other and then when the manager arrived at the bar, it was not to stop them, it was to watch the tv mounted on the wall and lean on the counter. perhaps if he was watching the staff this wouldn't be happening. the pizza in defence was great, the rib eye was way too small for that price. in comparison the pizzas were overpriced but they were good. rib eye no. we actually waited for the waiter to return the steak to the kitchen but eventually decided to rather just pay and leave. no coffees offered. when asking about desserts we were again directed to the table talker without even a hint of trying to sell it!
