Perfect Service and attention

I had the pleasure to stay overnight at this facility on 1 April. My family and I were on our way to Gauteng from the Cape coast and due to it being peak season, the usual spots at Colesberg were fully booked. <br> <br> Upon arrival, I asked for directions to a place where I could buy Ice, firewood for a braai and cold drinks. I was tired and in desperate need to kick my feet up after 8 hours of driving through the Karoo. As Bethulie has limited services, Huntly immediately arranged for firewood and a braai. He bundled me into his Land Rover and drove me to town - this was after hours and most stores were closed. Within 20 minutes, I had ample ice, enough cold drinks which Huntly arranged through his contacts. The facilities at Pitch-up are basic, as it is recently established. However, the attention to detail (fresh milk, bottled mineral water, fresh bread etc) and the service levels have left a very good impression. The price was downright reasonable - no extra charge for the trip to town or for the firewood! <br> <br> Also the detour from the N1 to Bethulie was a breeze - very little traffic and the road was in good condition.
