Complaint - Bad Service

<p>My original complaint was lodged on www.piratessteakhouse.co.za 3 weeks ago and nobody bothered to get back to me.</p> <p>I had a reservation 3 weeks ago. The food was amazing and our waitress at the restaurant section was excellent.</p> <p>After dinner my 2 friends and I decided to move over to the pub section and it was actually the biggest mistake we could have made.</p> <p>The first disappointment was when we asked our new waitress, I didn't get her name, about the rugby drinks special and she assured us that it was valid during the Olympic game that was on. RSA vs GB My friend ordered our normal round of drinks and when the barman gave the bill, it was full price (R170 incl tip).</p> <p>We just left is because we didn't want to make an issue.</p> <p>We were actually there so long that we needed to order a snack at about 22:30. We ordered a pizza to share and when it came it had hair embedded in the cheese. Needless to say, I cancelled it and I just got a single cheesy garlic roll.</p> <p>We were then told that they would comp a round of drinks for us. We never ordered those drinks and left at about 23:00. This same waitress came running out and said that we still needed to pay for the garlic roll, a glass of wine and a single Jameson. I couldn't understand because they just said they would comp a round, so we naturally thought that it was actually less than what a normal round would cost. She then just voided the garlic roll and I was extremely annoyed with her because of the way she was speaking to us.</p> <p>She gave us SO much attitude, that I just paid her and left. Between my two friends and I, we almost spent R2000 (We have most of the slips as we used our bank cards) for dinner and drinks and this is the service we have to deal with.</p> <p>I just find it completely and totally unacceptable and I would think twice before coming to Pirates again if this is the service I can expect.</p>
